Today’s the day, the big 3-0

Some call me young, some call me old

I’m catching a groove, finding my flow

In my best years, or so I’m told

But they’ve ALL been the best, exciting, a blast

I walk towards my future, thankful for my past

The lessons, the memories, the people I’ve met

Instilled my highest of highs, my attitude

Love, happiness, and kindness, no regret

Make my cup overflow with gratitude

Everything that happens is the best that can be

Won’t you come sing, dance, and be alive with me?

This day is all we have, right here right now

Let’s connect and grow, give more than a glance

Our gift is the present, let us honor and bow

There is no practice run, no second chance

We learn from our lessons, don’t point or fault

All we have is each other, to lift up, to exalt

Everything that happens is the best that can be
